The Fast Radius web app offers automated quotes on FDM additive manufacturing processes. If you are looking to get a quote for an FDM printed part, the quickest and easiest way to find out how much a part will cost is to use our Fast Radius app. To do so, you will need to create an account, upload a part (the web app takes stl files but we work with other formats if you email them to us), and then set up a print job. As soon as you choose from the available options, pricing will update instantly.

Alternatively, you can use are quick quotation form (found on the menu bar) or you can send us an email to with applicable part files and a description of how you’d like the part to be manufactured and we will return a quote within hours.

First, we needed to go-live with a fully operational solution, which required a valid account. Once you checkout, we populate your shipping information into the system and proceed with the checkout. Second, your data, your uploaded files, are protected. Therefore, it’s important for us to have an audit trail and be able to identify you with the files you have uploaded.

We treat all models (STLs) as if they were under an NDA. All files in our system are protected under several layers of security. In the future we will add additional NDA functionality into our Fast Radius. In the meantime, we are happy to review and sign NDAs to help you comply with any internal requirements you may have with your company.

Yes. However, our automated system is currently configured to process orders for delivery inside the United States and Canada. Shipments to other countries is handled manually.

Fast Radius is a private company and is not seeking outside investment. Rather, our efforts are focused exclusively on what is necessary to build a robust business by continuing to expand and improve our operations and deliver the best service possible to our customers.

Fast Radius is capable of offering hundreds of different manufacturing solutions through our cutting edge in-house capabilities and through our distributed on-demand manufacturing platform. Through Fast Radius’ web app, we offer additive manufacturing, machining, urethane casting, and injection molding. Our list of offerings are growing every day. A number of factors determine which production priorities are available when you initiate or start a print job using the Fast Radius App.

When you open a part, something we call the Part Details Page appears. When the page loads, our system checks the size of the part and analyzes, very quickly, the build time (build or part material and support material) and post production time using the default options. Based on the part, part options, and capacity of our system we will present 1, 2 and/or 5 Business Days as the available production priorities (or lead times).

Additive Manufacturing

Fast Radius has access to a large variety of in-house solutions as well as thousands more through our distributed network of on demand manufacturing processes.

In house, Fast Radius uses an automated additive manufacturing systems built on proprietary technology.

Fast Radius currently offers parts produced using fused deposition modeling (FDM), stereolithography (SLA), selective laser sintering (SLS), and direct metal laser sintering (DMLS). These processes allow us to produce high quality parts in plastics and metals. Our materials list is growing rapidly so if you don’t see it on the site, please reach out to us at

Our part tolerance depends on the shape and material of the part, but we can hold tolerances as low as 16 micrometers.

Our best resolution is a function of part geometry, but we can do as well as 16 micrometers for layer thickness.

We are able to produce single parts up to 36″x24″x36″. However, we are able to supply larger parts by producing separate components that would be combined into a final, finished part. If you have large part requirements please contact us so we can review your project and determine what options are available to produce your part(s).

CNC Machining

We are commonly able hold tolerances of .001” but are capable of holding even tighter tolerances if required.

Urethane Casting

The tolerance of a urethane casting is dependent on the production method of the mold, but is generally about ±0.015” or ±0.003 “/”, whichever is greater.

We are able to produce parts up to approximately 1000 in3, but parts must be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine compatibility with the relevant equipment and processes.

We can cast a large variety of urethane resins, in addition to silicon elastomers and fiberglass composites. We can provide parts made in all materials produced by Stratasys Direct, Inc.
